There is always something new

Mr. Independent

Xave is growing up so fast. He can stand on his own and is no longer afraid. He is cruising the furniture at warp speed now. There were a few things today I don't want to forget. This morning when I dropped him off at daycare he was wiggling trying to get out of my arms. I usually hold him while I put his bottles away and fill out his sheet so I can get in that last snuggle before I have to leave for the day. Today he wanted down so I sat him in the floor and he zipped on over to the push toy and stood up and took off pushing it across the room. He looked back at me with such a big grin, proud of himself. As if to say "oh look how big I am Mama" His two bottom teeth peeking out when he smiles. It is nice to know he is so happy and comfortable at the new daycare. The other thing I want to remember is the sound his hands and knees make when he crawls on the tile in the kitchen...slap.slap...slap.slap.

Sweet memories. And a good idea to write them down. ---Mom (who doesn't remember her password if she has one!)
