Xavier finally has a tooth! It took 4 days of crankiness, but it finally popped through. It is still just barely above the gums, but I guess we can't keep calling him the "toothless wonder" anymore. At daycare he finally started eating table food, which means I don't have to make or pack baby food anymore, just bottles. For the last week he has been excellent about going to bed. He still cries a little, but he will actually reach for his crib when we get near it. 3 months ago I would have thought this impossible. We just lay him down and he rolls over and he goes to sleep!Love this face!

He is pretty steady walking behind his little car. I keep trying to get video and always forget. He doesn't have enough balance or confidence to try to stand alone yet.

Why do we need toys when we have kitchen utensils?!?

Xavier ate his entire lunch like this on Saturday, then played with the whisk for another 20 minutes, completely content with one foot on the tray.

Captain Adorable on the 4th of July. On the 25th we are having Xavier baptized. I can't believe he is almost 11 months old.
